PC OF Editor

Hi guys, for the last few days I have had access to a few bits of software that allow you to take the Editdata file from your PS3 & convert it to a PC file so it can be accessed using one of the many PC OF Editors (I have been using wild's) then convert it back to PS3. I'm still playing around with it at the moment, trying to work a few things out with it. The PC editing software allows me to do a lot of things that can't be done using the IG editor, so far there are 3 things that I'm pretty sure it will be possible to do plus one thing I hope I will be able to do by using this method.

Bring back old presets
Even though a player may be taken out of the game from one year to the next as they have moved to a club that isn't IG or their club is no longer IG that players face is still on the game. For example Henry was added back into PES 2012 after the last data pack, but was removed this year as he had gone back to NY. Using the editor I should be able to give players like him their preset face.

Edit hidden teams
Some of you may have come up against the odd fake team in ML/BAL that don't appear anywhere else in the game. I have played 2 different ones in friendlys on BAL. Using the editor I can edit the team names aswell as the players. What I would like to know is if anyone has met any of these teams in the CL/EL/Libertadores while playing ML/BAL or even seen them in the competition? If so were you playing in Europe or South America? If you have then I will edit them to be real clubs with real players, that even though we won't be able to play with them it will add to the realism.

Make the latest version of the OF compatible with no data pack Their is a option in the editor to make the game work with various data packs, if this works I should be able to create a seperate download for each new version of the OF that works for those of you who don't have the latest data pack installed.

The final thing which I don't know if can be done, but I think it can is unlock licensed teams so at the end of the season when new kits come out I can update the licensed teams aswell and not just the unlicensed teams. Let me know your thoughts, Cheers, Paul

    1. Hi mate, there are 3 differnt things, 1 to decrypt the save file, one to convert it, then the actual editor. I will post some links later.

  2. Hi Paul,

A good way of giving players their old presets is to literally export them from PES2012/PES2011. You could download w!LD@'s PES 2012 editor and a PES2012 OF, export the player to a ._PES2012 player file and import them into the new game, insuring that all of the player's stats, physique etc. are untouched. You'd have to edit the player's age, but this is what I do to ensure authenticity with players like Hitzlsperger etc. - I could even do a pack of exported 2011 and 2012 players if you like. Just let me know who you'd like and I can give you the files to import over created/duplicate players.

And also, yes, you can 'un-link' licensed teams' kits to enable you to use PNG files. I did this last year with Man Utd. Hope this helps!

    1. Thanks for the info mate. Instead of me giving you a list, maybe you could send me your data file converted to PC as I guess you already have them all.

    3. Hi mate, I think I'm right thanks, as you said its easy to find which face/hair is for who. But maybe send it to paulc2478@gmail.com if it's not too much trouble.

  3. Hi Paul
About the hidden teams...yes, i was playing (or just seen) in ML with few. You can often find them in EL competition But, If you can edit them it would be cool, i suggest it should be some clubs from minor leagues, for example switezerland (basel), austria(rapid), serbia (red star), romania (steaua)etc...so the competition be more realistic.

    1. Thanks mate, that was my plan to add in these kind of teams but I didn't think it would be worthwile if they only appeared in friendly's, but as they do appear in CL, etc I will look into editing them.
