Data Pack 3.00 Preparation

Hi guys, it has been a while since I posted anything sorry, Work has kept me very busy, so PES has been neglected a bit, so much so that I still haven't finished editing my own game. There is a new data pack this week which is released on Thursday and I hoping that a few days after that I will finally finish and be able to start playing BAL.

I'm sure you have all seen the announcements about the data pack but for anyone that hasn't it will include the winter transfers, Euro 2016 mode as well as the usual new boots and player faces. It is also rumoured that NT squads will be updated, I have sent a tweet to @officialpes for confirmation, but haven't got a reply as yet.

Yesterday I spent the day preparing for the data pack, so I thought I would share this with you all so you can carry it out as well.

Base Copy Players
I have base copied players that will be removed by the data pack because they have been transferred/loaned to teams not in the game that either have a Preset face or I need for a team I have created. Check for players created over fake NT players
There are some new licensed NT's in the data pack, these include a few teams that previously had fake player names. The teams are Albania, Croatia, Czech Republic, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Slovakia, Turkey, Ukraine and Wales. I base copied any players I had created over the fake duplicates as they will disappear after the data pack.

New/Old NT duplicates
I have base copied any players that will no longer be duplicates over their fake version and defaulted the names of any players that will now be a duplicate. If it is true NT squads will be updated then there may be other players removed from the game that may need base copying before the update. I'm trying to get confirmation of who these players might be and will update this post if I get any information.

Normally the data pack comes out just as I'm getting home from work so I tweet anything I notice or answer any questions on Twitter while I'm editing, but I will be travelling on Thursday evening so I won't get to look until 11pm/midnight, but will be happy to answer anything then.

    Paul, this option file is only for Pes 2016 or you have another for Pes 2015?

      I don't have a PES 2016 OF as you can't share them on PS4. There are links at the top of the page to my old PS3 OF's for PES 2015 & earlier ;)

      I'm not editing PES 2015 any more, there is a link for my final update which was for the end of the 2014/15 season. The information in this post is for people who are editing there own PES 2016 ;)

    Hi Paul,

    I have edited lots of player stats in my PES. Will this DLC 3.0 affect to the stats that I have changed?

    i.e. I changed Mahrez stats so in my PES he is rated 85. I've seen that after DLC 3.0 Mahrez will be rated 81. Will he remain with 85 or will be rated 81??

    cant find the part by part one....i'm having problem with national team import...whenever i importing national team i will get everything except the PNG for the kit....any idea why paul? i convert it from BLES to BLAS

    Hey mate I was wondering if you had a bruteforce compatible with windows 8 for a ps 3 conversion of blus to bles I tried your link and I can't open it on my pc but on another it's ok

      Hi mate, it is compatible with Windows 8 (I used it on it), I had issues with it on some PC's. The issue is usually something else installed that uses visual basic, mine was my anti virus software.

      You could try that, but I just used a spare laptop with no antivirus software installed on it

    Hi Paul, i have small question. Did is possible to convert option file from classic PES 2016 version to EURO 2016 PES vesrion with Gareth Bale on cover? Both version is BLES, but have other number.

      Hi mate, yeah it is, I updated Bruteforce to include BLES02228 which is the code for the Euro 2016 version. You will need to find a OF that has been updated to work with data pack 3.00 though.

    Hi Paul,

    There are strong rumours that Konami is working towards optionfile sharing ability for PS4. There are high chances it will be included in PES 2017. In this case, will you be making one of your famous OF files for current generation?

      Hi mate, if it is possible then my plan will be the same as it would have been for PES2016 which is to work with the guys from PESUniverse to make the best OF possible.

    I am writing to you because I have a question regarding PES 2014. I recently bought this game, I find everywhere your OF but I cannot update to the last data pack because the online services are closed. Can you please tell me whan I can do to make them work? Where can I find the latest data pack..I have the game on disk, on PS3 and my console is not modded.

      Hi mate, there is no way to add the data pack without a modded console. I don't have a version that doesn't need a data pack as I released the 1st version after the 1st data pack sorry.

    Will the PS4 have the same system of Option file that the ps3 have? You know, download from the internet, copy to the USB ad paste everything on the console?

      We don't know exactly how it will work yet, all we know is that you will still do those steps as normal, but we don't know if that will be it or you will then have to import the files once you start the game. As soon as we know there will be full instructions.

    I need data pack 7 for pes 2014 PS3 where can I get it from?

    IF the answer is no to above whats the point of the old option files here as you can't download data packs in game.
