PES 2016 Plans

Hi guys, first up sorry for the lack of Mediafire links, my internet connection has been playing up. The BLES link is now on the downloads page & the BLUS & BLAS should be up in the next few days.

Over the last few months I have changed my mind a 100 times about what to do with PES 2016, I have released OF's for every game since PES 2010 & edited for myself before that & every year I think I will retire. I was pretty sure this years OF was going to be my last due to a lack of time, but I was contacted by themidnitekid about a month ago with a very interesting proposal.

 He asked me to help with a PS4 OF, his original idea was to get everyone to work on one OF, but not everyone wanted to take part. I decided this would be great for me though as I can still work on a OF but with the help of lots of other people. This means a much better OF for everyone as it won't be reliant on how much free time I have as other people will be able to add things even when I don't have time. So far there is myself, themidnitekid, 7oy & Alister & hopefully there will be more people to help out soon. It won't be my OF, but a OF for everyone.

 At the moment file sharing hasn't been confirmed for PS4, but as it stands if it is confirmed then I will be working on a PS4 OF & if file sharing isn't possible on PS4 then I won't be releasing a OF at all, I will just go back to my PS2 days & make my own edits for myself. I don't have a PS4 yet, but will be getting one this week, I haven't downloaded the PES 2106 demo yet as I thought I would wait until I have my PS4 rather than get the PS3 one now then the PS4 one this week.

 For the last few years I have been able to covert my BLES OF to work with the BLUS &BLAS versions of the game thanks to the Bruteforce tool, at the moment this won't be possible for PS4 , so the OF (if it is possible) will be for the European version of the game. I don't know the code sorry as I don't have my PS4 yet, but I will update the post once I do know.

 If nyou are sticking with PS3 then I'm sure other people will still release OF's or you could make your own. Making a OF isn't hard, it just takes lots of time, Check out PES forums such as PESGaming, PESFan or WENB to find alternate OF's.

    As you said all above, from now on there is no more OF for PS3 platform from you anymore?? What a pity if we can't have OF for PS3...Now where we can find source of OF for PS3? Cause follow one stable source is easier for us to keep OF updated. Thanks Paul for everything!

      Glad you have enjoyed the OF's mate :) I think the tech gap is already there, I'm pretty sure kits/emblems will load instantly on PS4 like they used to on PS3.

      You have to replace the kit of another team mate. The reason I didn't add 3rd kits is there is a limit of 600 kits, so you need to delete the kit of another team to add a 3rd kit.

      You need to go to the team who's kit you are going to replace & default it first then you will have space to add the new kit ;)

      Hello Paul, if you can help me once again, still in relation to out of space for new uniforms. If I right to exclude some teams that do not use automatically created leagues frees up space to insert third uniform?
      If I can delete within feet of the menu in editing?
      Or have that right to exclude the uniforms of your option file by computator?

    Aah, so sad, indeed.

    Despite your decision to move on, I wanna ask you something crucial, Paul. I've played the demo version of PES2016, both for PS3 and PS4 version. Within the demo, I haven't found any difference on gameplay or whatsoever.

    To me, both PS3 and PS4 version are once again identical, except graphics. What do you think?

      I've only played 1 game on the PS4 demo & haven't played the PS3 version so I can't say, but the following things although mainly graphical will make a huge difference in the final game.

      Kits & emblems are likely to load instantly on PS4 (like they used to on PS3) where as they will still take 20-30 seconds to load on PS3.

      The PS4 version will have match intros, not that important as I normally skip them, but it is nice to watch them when you reach a cup final.

      PS4 kit images will cover the whole kit, I expect the PS3 version to have the same format as PES 2015.

      I haven't just moved on for PES, there are more & more games coming out that are only on PS4.

      If OF sharing is confirmed then the European version of the game will be the one to get. Depending on how sharing is implemented it may work with other versions as well.

      Hi mate, if OF sharing is confirmed the OF I will be working on will be the European version. There is no way to convert files to other regions on PS4.

      If you play a lot online & you are in the US, you would be better off getting the US version & waiting for someone else to make a OF for that version though.

      Yes it is one by one mate. It is pretty straightforward you open Bruteforce then on each file you press ctrl+i then type the new code (BLUS31480) then hit enter then move onto the next file. Once they are all renamed you select all the files and press the verify button ;)

      Hi mate, no software is needed everything is done in edit mode. If you want to make your own kits you will need something like Photoshop, I have never been any good at this so always use ones that you can find on forums.

      I haven't discussed what the American league will be with the other lads yet, but it will be the Mexican or Colombian league. The problem with creating Serie B is there will be no promotion to Serie A plus the top teams will appear in the Libertadores & Sudamericana which is unrealistic.

      Hi mate, I won't be making a patch for the PS3 version at all this year. Even if OF sharing isn't possible on PS4, I will just edit the game for myself & play on that, I won't be getting the PS3 version sorry.

      Hi mate, OF sharing still hasn't been confirmed yet. If it is the only version I guarantee our OF will work for is the European version, until I have the game & see how sharing works I can't guarantee it will work with the Asian or American versions.

    Hi Paul, I'm also on the verge of migrating to the PS4 platform, and of course will be getting PES 2016. Problem is I've grown so reliant on your OF I refuse to buy a copy until I'm sure it is compatible across versions.

    Please do give us an update on whether it is okay to get the asian version as I'm from Singapore, otherwise I will wait and try to get my hands on the European or US ones, whichever works with your OF.
