Hi guys, as you have probably seen the new Konami data pack has been confirmed to be released today for everyone, if you haven't read about it then you can do so here
http://www.pesfan.com/blog/2014/12/15/pes-2015-data-pack-2-dated/ . Now the only damage it will do to what you all currently have is it will move all the duplicate (fake named) NT players back into the NT's instead of the real players. If this is something you can put up with for a couple of days then you can download it as soon as it is out, if it is a issue then don't download it until I release my next update.
The new update has taken a little longer than I expected, currently all the Serie B kits are done, a couple of NT kits have been done and I just have to fix up the stats for 6 Bundesliga teams to have it complete enough to release. Tonight after I get the data pack I will need to fix the damage caused (more for me than for you) and then I can finish off those last 6 teams.
All being well the update will be out in time for the weekend, so a couple of days later than I initially expected.

DeleteThey should really allow for these things to be overwritten by option file. Once you update the data pack, you should be able to choose which stuff to update ingame. Shouldn't be that hard for Konami and it makes the great work from people like Paul much more enjoyable for them as welk as for us

ReplyDeleteNot everything will be reset to default, just the NT line ups, stadiums, banners & rival clubs. If you download the data pack now you will need to wait for my next update to fix those things ;)

DeleteI tried playing ML but there are there are still 2 fake hidden ( 1 in UCL and 1 in Europa League) teams appearing instead of 2 out of 3 remaining unlincensed teams. How to fix this and to use unlicensed teams instead? Thanks mate!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing that can be done about fake hidden teams unless Konami add more teams in future data packs so they are no longer there. Did you start a new ML after the data pack?
DeleteYes, I tried if there are no more hidden fake teams. Unfortunately, there are still 2 nuisance fake teams in ML. I hope Konami will fix these and instead allow us to edit those fake teams.
DeleteThey could possibly be teams from the PEU League which will be the Bundesliga in my next update ;)
DeleteI renamed PEU League teams as Bundesliga teams then shifted 5 fake teams into other EU teams and renamed them as Malmo, Celtic, Salzburg, Dynamo Kyiv and Club Brugge but still two unlicensed teams appeared instead of 5. Those missing teams are filled up by hidden fake teams.
DeleteOh well, will just have to wait & see if Konami add more teams to replace the fake hidden ones then.

Just keep trying mate, you can't add the data pack unless you do so from the game without a jailbroken console (& I don't support those).

Hi mate, yeah this data pack didn't add any players. I won't add him though as the next data pack after the January transfer window will along with all the other missing players ;)

ReplyDeleteTeam & player names (where I have created players) will update, but players stats/positions will remain as they were.

DeleteIn terms of team. player names yes, but stats, position, nationalities will be wrong. Also Bayern, Leverkusen & Schalke won't be part of the league. This will all be fixed though if you start a new ML ;)

It will be because you added my update after the data pack mate, you just needed to install the data pack. Once you get my next update it will fix it.

DeleteAre you providing the DLC files as well to install manually? It will be a great help. As for DLC 2, it doesn't feel significantly different. Some new face and 4 (just FOUR) new teams won't change anything drastic. Except one of the team is Dortmund.

DeleteData packs are never anything to drastic, but 4 new teams isn't to be sniffed at as new teams normally aren't added, 73 new/improved faces is good, the usual boots & balls is good as well, plus it's free ;)
You got a point. But your OF is way, WAY, more useful than this free DLC. And you're making the Bundesliga, too, which made me respect your OF more than anything--expecially that DLC thingy.

Hi mate, there is no way I can add boot packs, the only new boots will be those added by data packs.

DeleteHey mate! I haven't play PES since about 2008 so this is kinda new to me on PS3. I like the league mode mostly. I'm still not quite sure how yours and the konami updates affect game saves. I think I understand now that the konami update will cause your OF to be messed up so I want to wait to download the konami update until your update is released so that I can install your update immediately after I install the konami update, right?

For example, if I start a league now with the 3 PES leagues will those leagues eventually get overwritten by your update with the three real leagues you are creating? or will I have to start a new league mode save every time your update comes out to have your created leagues in it? I've also seen where some commenters are worried about player names getting messed up in the master league mode after installing your OF updates. I'm not sure I understand their concern and I don't get what names would be affected. People also seem to be concerned about having these fake teams in their master leagues, but they also want to start a master league after the Bundesliga comes out. To get Bundesliga in their master league, wouldn't they have to include the 3 fake leagues and therefor they would have bundesliga but also get 2 fake leagues? I would think people would want to wait until all 3 leagues are created by you before starting a master league.
Basically I just can't figure out if I should start my league mode saves now and let everything get updated by your OF's as I go or wait until you have finished adding all 3 leagues and then start my league mode saves. I'd like to start my leagues, but I don't want to have to keep restarting them everytime there is an update. Does that make sense? I couldn't find anything about this on the FAQ.

Hi mate, first off welcome back :) Basically everything will update except for player nationalities, positions and stats plus transfers. Personally I love playing BAL & I never start until I have created all the teams. After all that is done the only updates from me will be things like player appearances so you will be safe to continue playing the same ML save ;)

DeleteAs far as positions not updating, will the computer put your players in the correct positions for matches? Or will it start matches based on the default fake players (you use to create real players) positions and have forwards playing as defenders, etc?
As far as stats... The 3 new leagues will be there with the correct names, but the players themselves will only possess the stats of the default fake player that you turn in to the real player in your OF?
I prefer the regular league mode. I'm thinking that it might be best to just wait until you have created all 3 new leagues to start them. Until then I just play exhibition or cups or something.

Yes they will stay as they are mate. What I mean by positions is say I take a CB & make him a GK he will still be a CB if you continue a league started before a update. Yes they will have correct names but default stats.

Damn Konami, they should put you on their payroll and let the whole editing stuff up to you, because everytime they interfere with it, they make a mess of it. :D :D :D

ReplyDeleteI just purchased PES 2015 for my PS3 today (19th of December) and I copied your option file to my ps3... But I don't think anything has been applied unfortunately. For one thing, the team emblems and the team names have not changed.
Is it because of Konami's new data pack or am I doing something completely wrong here? And if it is because of Konami's new data pack, will the problem be resolved once I download your updated option file?
